Deltadrive DC drives are available in four frame sizes up to 450kW, with a choice of two or four quadrant operation and with the option of a unique electronic regenerative stopping facility on the two-quadrant versions.
Steady state accuracy is typically 0.01% when used in conjunction with an
encoder and digital reference, 0.1% with tacho and 2% with AVF.
Up to 99 macro modes may be stored in the drive to be recalled at a later
time, making for easy interchangeability.
The I/O provision with Deltadrive has to be seen to be believed!
As standard, the Deltadrive comes with a wealth of I/O available: 8 Universal
inputs, configurable as digital inputs or analogue inputs with ±5V, 10V, 20V or
30V as required; 4 additional analogue outputs, 4 digital inputs, 3 digital
outputs; an additional 4 digital I/O which can be configured as either inputs or
outputs depending on the application requirements.
The versatility doesn't end there. The drive can be configured to run two
different motors, or two sets of parameters for the same motor. This can be very
useful, for example, in crane and hoist applications.
Diagnostics include: fault latch and auto display, digital monitoring via
display, full diagnostics via RS232 and digital and relay status display. There
are comprehensive system alarms with descriptive annunciation.
The operator unit comprises a simple 4-button tactile keypad with a
40-character back-lit LCD. There are multi- language options and security of the
operating procedure is maintained by password protection. Deltadrive DC drives
comply with all relevant quality standards and safety regulations relating to
installation and operation, including compliance with the requirements of EU
guidelines governing electromagnetic compatibility. All Deltadrives bear the CE
symbol.
